Critical Thinking and Debate will guide you through issue analysis, argument building, clash of opposing viewpoints, and hands-on debate practice. Through this course, students will gradually develop the ability to think clearly, express ideas precisely, and persuade others effectively.
This course combines interdisciplinary issue discussions, classic film appreciation, debate practice rounds, and a final debate competition. Students will not only learn to understand different viewpoints, but also learn how to think critically, speak clearly, and argue with reason.
