Development Vision and Educational Goals

To strengthen capacity of the College: The role of a college becomes diverse as the rapid development of higher education. It is important to strengthen the capacity and development characteristics of the College. To realize innovative teaching: Innovative teaching approaches help to equip students with advanced professional knowledge and skills, hard and soft skill for future career, and cross-disciplinary integration abilities urgently needed in today’s world. To focus on important research development: The advancement of engineering technology brings in different demands and production. As new technology and vision are combined with existing professional fields, a new milestone for research development is created. To enhance international mobility: Students’ foreign language skills are enhanced and international perspectives are cultivated as opportunities to engage with the world are provided and long-term partnership with sister schools continues. To strengthen the connection with alumni: Based on the strong connection between departments and alumni, alumni’s identity with the university is strengthened and the sense of honor toward the university is developed as positive cooperation between the two parties is established. Development Goals and Characteristics Educational Responsibilities in College of Engineering

1. In the undergraduate program, we aim to cultivate students with basic and practical skills, general education knowledge, advanced professional skills, technological ethics, and diligent and cooperative attitude.
2. In the master’s program, we aim to cultivate students with research and development skills, practical techniques, creative thinking ability, problem-solving skills, and leadership qualities.
3. In the doctoral program, we aim to cultivate students with forward-looking and broad vision, global perspectives, and the ability to independently develop, plan, integrate, and lead a research project.
